Stay tuned for more pics as they are put up!

And for those of you wondering what the "UPC label" is up above, it is actually Ogham, the ancient written language of the Irish. Used for quick messages and signposts, Ogham is named after Oghma, the Irish God of writing and communication.  Fitting, yes?

The pictures below are all that remains of trish's old days growing up doing theatre.  Pictures have been lost due to moving several times, computer crashes, and of course, hurricane damage to the interior of trish's home.

Enjoy and be patient as they load!

trish

Trish's most recent performance was as Billie Jo Casta, Queen of the Rodeo, in the Gulf Coast Opera's fundraiser production of Oedipus Tex, Sept. 2007.

The talented people you see here are the Witchcraze portion of the Oedipus Tex cast: J.T. Anglin, Stephanie Rosetti (Mistress Mathers), Allan Micksch (the Minister), Neil Gillie (Townsperson), and seated are trish and Gregg Stuart (Will).

The Old Days

Trish with the incomparable choreographer, Mary Evans.  Mary was accepted into Twyla Tharpe's dance troupe when she was just 17.  Life events led her to get a double major of Marine Biology and Dance.  The Marine Biology work brought her to the MS Gulf Coast, and Dance was an amazing gift she shared with us for many years.

Ermengarde Vandergelder of Hello, Dolly!, was trish's first Supporting Role at age 17.  Ronny Broussard tackles the mane that is trish's thick hair and prepares it for styling... 62 bobby-pins and a can of Kenra lacquer later, it was fabulous.

This is the main reason cameras should not be allowed backstage... this was taken the first weekend of Witness for the Prosecution.  The second weekend was not so glamorous... or as the director announced before the show, "Trish is in two casts this evening -- the one on the stage, and the one on her leg."

The infamous Trial of the Big Bad Wolf...

Ronny Broussard as the Big Bad Wolf, and

trish as Ms. Hamm...

Edward, the last of the Deputy Doo-da's, was a talented guy who had actually been to Korea when he was in the Air Force.  The last anyone heard from him, he was up for the lead of Broadway's Black and Blue.

What started out as a two-weekend gig turned into a two-and-half year run, doing show after show after show, taking it on the road a few times, going to competitions, and even selling our souls delivering Valentine Sing-o-grams to help pay our way to International Competition in Korea...

The director was a monster (she was nicknamed Ms. Hemlock), and more than one local newspaper dubbed the production  "The Show That Won't Go Away".  In the end, performing in the state-of-the-art theatre in competition with 16 other countries was a fabulous dream come true.

Porcine Dreams...

The flowers were a gift from a guy from Georgia (the country not the state) during the minutes-long standing ovation.

This was taken on the way up a mountain to a beautiful temple in Ch'un Chon, Korea.

David Delk, as Anthony, and trish, who was in the Company of Kinard Fite's production of Sweeney Todd...

To this day, when people talk about this production of Sweeney Todd, it is always with a gasp, a wistful look of theatre Nirvana, and a breathy, "Sweeeeeeeney"...

The New Days

The main mischief in trish's life is her daughter, Ari, shown here at age 4.

Ari, age 8, and still Ms. Mischief...

The name Ari is the shortened name of the Welsh Creator Mother Goddess, Arianrhod, and was trish's nickname when she gave it to her daughter before she was born.

(Note:  Her name is pronounced exactly the way it looks:  Ah-ree.)

(Warning:  She will correct you.)

The role of Hannah in Witchcraze was written for Renee's singular mezzo voice,

and she embodies the character as no one else can...

Trish made this outfit in honor of her favorite season, Autumn, and her favorite Opera character, Mozart's Queen of the Night.

(Do not ask trish to make any costumes.  She hates sewing.)
