Clit Stimulation: What’s In It for Men?

Since discovering OM (Orgasmic Meditation), one of my biggest questions has been “Why would a man want to do OM?”  If the OM touch is all about the guy stroking my clit for 15 minutes, what does he  get out of it?  Why would he  want to focus is on my clit while his clothes are still on?

The OM team has finally addressed this — seems they  get this question a lot.  A group of men talks about their  experiences as OM-ers — men who actually enjoy  focusing on a woman’s clit for 15 minutes.  They talk on a range of topics from the male perspective of sex, the male ego, overcoming male uncertainty of women’s bodies, and dropping cultural bullshit men adopt just to be perceived as masculine in our society.

They talk about:

  • Dropping the competitive nature of their relationship with a woman.
  • Sex becoming goal-less.
  • Enjoying the moment, not planning the sexual experience — map-less.
  • Getting their pride out of the way.
  • Gaining a better connection to their partner.
  • Being more confident in sex and the relationship.
  • Sex lasting for hours.

Happy OM-ing!

  1. Hubby is a successful OM-er. I taught him how I get off and he attempted and it freaking *worked*! Still does…. Obviously. Thank GAWD.

  3. When I was in my late teens I was very interested in women’s bodies (obviously!) but not just for ogling, I wanted to give pleasure, that was more important to me than my own, maybe it was just my ego so that I could think “look what I can do” but I really enjoyed participating and watching my partners getting off. I could lay there for hours gently learning how she likes it.Just my 2 cents on “what’s in it for men?”
Now that I’m more “in touch” with myself through what I’ve learnt with practising KSMO it’s all about me!

    1. Well, um…. P, the point of my post was that women are turning to OM so that *they* can orgasm during sex. 🙂 Upwards of 75% of women have never orgasmed during sex, and I am one of those. So when a woman is brave enough to approach her partner and ask him to OM with her, to help *her* awaken her orgasmic capability that is within her, the woman certainly doesn’t want to hear that sex is all about the guy. 🙂 And the guy needs to know what he will get out of it, especially since (American) men are trained to think in terms of how doing something will benefit *them*, not necessarily doing something just to be nice. OM has been a crucial find for me, and for a lot of women. KSMO, while wonderful, is a different thing. 🙂

  5. Oops, yep, missed your point!
I must admit, didn’t watch the vid (low speed internet where I’m at). Looks like I’m gonna have a good look at this OM thing!

    1. No worries, P, I know you’re out in the wilds of yonder continent. 🙂 The video really is amazing — to hear men talk about partnered sex and how doing OM transformed them individually as men and also as better partners in their relationship. That’s a key benefit with OM that KSMO still lacks, in my opinion, is how to incorporate the practice fully with a partner. With OM, you start with a partner and grow in the practice with your partner. There’s no solo work or “secrecy” so there’s no jealousy, in that regard; you work together and grow together — very awesome stuff, IMHO… P.S. Wouldn’t mind if you put a roo pic for your avi. 😀
